I love coffee!

I thought it would be appropriate to talk about a subject that is close to my heart, COFFEE!  Hence the words,"Daily Grind".  My wife thought that one up!!
Recently my Mom passed away from complications of a heart attack.  She was 89!  So LeeAnne's siblings wanted to buy us something in her name.  Maybe a little bench for the yard, something for the house.  So I said, " well she liked to drink her coffee, how about a coffee maker?"  So that's what they did.  It is really nice, it will grind whole beans and then brew it, so every pot is fresh, or you can do the regular perk too.    Hey mom, this cups for you! haha
I have memories of my Mom and I sharing coffee on long road trips.  I was too young to drive, but she let me have coffee!  Every time I'm on the road now, that first cup I pour out of my thermos reminds me of those times with my Mom!

Now that you know I like coffee, I guess I'll tell you a little more about myself.

I'm married and have been for 31 years!  We have 3 children, and 3 grandchildren.  Hence the "Grandpa" part of the name of this blog.
I love music, I play bass guitar and regular guitar.  I also play the drums!
I like on-line gaming, first person shooter, I enjoy anything to do with WW2.
I attend church at Christ Memorial Temple in Lafayette, IN.
I love football and baseball, Go Colts!
I love to ride motor cycles, unfortunately I don't own one now, but I have in the past and someday I will again.
I love my kids and grandchildren, so I hope to share some of the amazing things they do.
